Our Instructor Practice Sessions are designed for competent and experienced shots who want to move beyond general lessons and focus on meaningful, measurable improvement in their shooting.
Whether your aim is to sharpen your sporting clay shooting for competition, or to develop the specific skills required for game shooting ahead of the Grouse, Pheasant, or Partridge season, these sessions provide structured, expert led practice tailored entirely to you.
Instructor Practice Sessions are suited to shooters who are already confident with gun mount, footwork, shooting targets on report, and safely loading your own gun.
If you feel you are not quite at this stage yet, a small number of additional lessons with one of our instructors will help prepare you for an Instructor Practice Session.
Most shooters at this level will have their own gun; however, if you do not, this is not a problem. A suitable gun can be provided by your instructor. You are also welcome to ask for expert advice on gun selection, should you be considering a purchase based on your shooting style and physique.
Unlike standard lessons, Instructor Practice Sessions are about fine-tuning, consistency, and progression. Your instructor will work closely with you to identify areas for improvement, refine technique, and help you build a more repeatable, confident shooting approach.
Many shooters notice a clear difference after just one session. However, where circumstances allow, committing to regular weekly or monthly sessions can deliver significant improvements in performance, helping you hit targets and achieve scores you may never have thought possible, while feeling re-energised and motivated in your shooting.
Sessions can be booked on an individual or shared basis.
Our Instructor Practice Sessions are delivered by a highly experienced and respected instructing team.
